COVID-19 Updates - Alameda County and Contra Costa County

As of yesterday, Alameda County Public Health Department confirmed four new cases of COVID-19; two of the four cases are the first incidence of community-acquired transmission in Alameda County. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to seven. Click here for more info.

Alameda County Public Health Department (ACPHD) has revised guidance for high priority groups for COVID-19 testing; in addition, now only nasopharyngeal swab specimens are required. Click here for more info.

Alameda County Public Health Department updated its recommendations yesterday to include a recommendation to cancel non-essential gatherings of more than 250 people.
