His impact also includes roles as Alameda County Public Health Officer, Medical Director of Alameda Alliance for Health, and physician leader at Asian Health Services, advancing equitable care for underserved communities. A committed mentor, Dr. Chen is the 2025 Joseph F. Boyle, MD ECPS Young at Heart Award recipient for his enduring support of future physician leaders.
