CMA Develops Guidance for Physicians on State Use Tax
The CMA has prepared guidance to help physicians understand their obligations to pay California Use Tax for certain business-related purchases made from out-of-state vendors. The California Board of Equalization has recently been contacting physician offices informing them that they must report any pay the Use Tax. However, only certain items may be subjected to the Use Tax.
