The Alameda-Contra Costa Medical Association (ACCMA) is a professional association of physicians who are committed to addressing health issues of concern to patients and doctors in the East Bay.  Formed in the mid-1800s, the ACCMA and in partnership with the California Medical Association (CMA) exists for the sole purpose of representing physicians and promoting public health.  

Through membership in the ACCMA and CMA, physicians help to strengthen the solidarity, influence and image of the medical profession. Members also receive a number of benefits:

PECOS Deadline Delayed
Medicare recently announced that it would delay the compliance deadline for its "PECOS enrollment policy" until January 1, 2011.
21% Medicare SGR Cut
Congress temporarily delayed the 21% cuts in physician reimbursement scheduled for 2010, that temporary delay expires next Monday, March 1.
H1N1 Update
UPDATE: CDPH is now accepting supplemental orders for H1N1 vaccine. Requests will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
