Physicians are encouraged to warn patients about a new Medicare card phone scam. Seniors are informed by scammers that their new Medicare card will arrive between April and June 2018, which is true, but they are also being asked to buy a temporary card for $5 to $50 and to provide personal information before they receive their new Medicare card.
