As part of the comment period for the proposed Medicare physician payment rule for 2018, the California Medical Association (CMA) submitted its top 10 priorities for regulatory burden reduction under the Medicare and Medicaid programs. The number one priority is to reduce reporting burdens for the quality and electronic health record (EHR) components of MACRA.
