The California Medical Association (CMA) is presenting a free webinar on September 27 from 12:15 to 1:15 pm on how to challenge interim payments for out-of-network services under AB72. The new law, which went into effect on July 1, changed the billing practices of non-participating physicians providing non-emergent care at in-network facilities. Health plans and insurers are required to reimburse physicians at interim rates, which can be challenged through the Independent Dispute Resolution Process (IDRP). Learn how to access the dispute options and the ACCMA-CMA resources to assist members by registering for the webinar at http://bit.ly/2hI4Fc9.
