A survey conducted by the American Medical Association (AMA) in late April reflected widely held concerns by physicians across all practice types about implementing Medicare’s Quality Payment Program (QPP). One thousand practicing physicians were polled regarding their practice’s decision making on adopting the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) or the Advanced Alternative Payment Model (APM). The AMA has launched an educational campaign, “One patient, one measure, no penalty,” to guide physicians on meeting the minimum requirements for this year at http://bit.ly/2uSE1iw. ACCMA resources, which include a recorded three-hour seminar, four on-demand webinars, and an online tool, are free to all East Bay physicians.
