Physicians who did not respond to revalidation requests from Noridian, Medicare’s administrative contractor for California, between May 31, 2016 and January 31, 2017, have had their Medicare billing privileges deactivated. Revalidation notices are usually sent via email two to three months prior to the revalidation due date and if the email is returned as undeliverable, Noridian sends a paper notice to the mailing address on file. The next revalidation due date is June 30.
