ACCPAC
The ACCMA formed ACCPAC in 1989 as its local political action committee. It provides contributions to support local candidates and issues that demonstrate that they share the values of the ACCMA leadership and Legislative Committee to stimulate and nurture improved relationships and understanding between the medical profession and local legislators.
ts sole source of funds is from voluntary contributions from ACCMA members.Your contributions are greatly appreciated.
To contribute to ACCPAC, you can make a credit card donation online. Alternatively, you can make a check out for $25.00 or greater, payable to the Alameda-Contra Costa Physicians Committee, and mail it to the ACCMA: 6230 Claremont Avenue,Oakland, CA, 94618. Members are also given the opportunity to make a voluntary contribution on their annual ACCMA/CMA membership dues statement.

- Medi-Cal Payments on Hold
- While most physicians continue to be paid for Medi-Cal claims, some Medi-Cal payments are being held up while the California Legislature negotiates a new State budget.

- To ensure adequate time to process applications before the January 3, 2011. Medicare is strongly encouraging physicians who are not currently enrolled in PECOS to initiate Medicare enrollment.
