Re-Inventing and Re-Opening Your Practice

Medical offices and practices are essential businesses and were not required to close, but many physicians have faced difficulties with staffing, incorporating Telemedicine into their practices, ensuring waiting rooms are safe, etc. To assist physicians in our community, the ACCMA, SCMS and NCMS have developed several new resources for resuming practice, bringing together tools, webinars, and information physicians may need to properly and securely reopen their practices.

Slack Group-Chat Platform

The ACCMA has begun utilizing Slack, a group-chat platform, as a means for local physicians to network, ask questions, receive responses and advice from other local physicians, and share methods surrounding resuming practice.

Topics of discussion may include telemedicine resources, compensation, insurance, PPE resources, maintaining PPE, practice workflows, and staff safety.

Joining the Slack channel is free and open to all interested physicians and practice managers. To join, please click this invitation link to open the platform in your web browser and follow the instructions to create an account.

Feel free to post messages, resources, links, photos, or ask questions to engage with the ACCMA Slack community. ACCMA Channels can be found at the bottom of the toolbar on the left side of the page, under "Channels". Invite any colleagues that could benefit from the information shared on Slack!
